As with many things, before having kids it as a minor nuisance. With small kids it's a huge pita trying to get on the new schedule either way, spring or fall. But it's worth it to get the extra daylight in the evenings.

Anyone who bitches about having extra daylight when you get home should just roll over and die already. I couldn't care less about how light it is at 4am or 5am, but I love DST in the evenings. November thru March suck arse with the 5-6PM sunset.

Because people didn't want it still daylight at 9 pm in the summer when the temps are still 100+

It doesn't get dark here until after 8 pm in the summer without doing time change....with time change it wouldn't get dark until after 9

I didn't sleep well at all last night. Woke up several times and finally got up at 5 am and stayed up.

Would probably be OK if I hadn't decided to have a 4 hour make out session with a bottle of Buffalo Trace starting about 7 last night...

I hate it, I like having some daylight to take my dog out in the morning before work and all. Just finally got to that point the last 2/3 weeks or so. I slept in today and didn't see what time the sun came up though.

It actually helped out with he baby. Usually he's getting up as I'm getting up and I have to find something to keep him occupied (I get up quite a bit before my wife and try to let her sleep). Baby now sleeps an "extra" hour . I have a feeling that's all out the window by the end of the week though.

And frick that turd-sucking, bastard prick George Bush for EXTENDING that abominable bullshite. Let's put it to the popular vote and THEN I will shut up about it if we have a majority of idiot fricks who want it. Until then, frick congress and their aides and whore lobbyists who keep this shite going! I hope they burn in whatever hells they think they believe in!
