Not a Howard Stern fan, but this is probably the best live action commentary of something happening ever.
When someone asks what was it like when 9/11 happened, this video does a good job of all the emotions.

Walton & Johnson were broadcasting their show during the event. When the first report of a plane hitting a WTC tower came in, I seem to recall one of them saying something to the effect of “I thought all of the Kennedys who flew planes were already dead.” (JFK Jr. died about 26 months previously in a plane crash)

Stern’s immediate “you know what this is about and who did this” was pretty dead on. Whenever I listen to this I am always also impressed with crazy cabbie’s reaction.

Anybody claiming they knew what was going on right when it happened was either full of shite or in on it.
And there were absolutely news reports ready to tell the tale. Right down to the famous passport being found on day 1.
We can argue about who is responsible. But it should be suspicious to anyone with common sense that the narrative was put in place so fast. There is no way to explain that passport BS. They must have thought we were really dumb.
Anybody who still believes the government's official story of 9/11 is a rube.

Yeah around y2k bin Laden had already been identified in the media as out to get the USA. It was when they were spelling it Usama. I remember making a comment about it in an email thread with my college friends.
