Car was probably used in a crime like a getaway for a robbery.

Based on my late night YouTube surfing, there’s a good chance there are large amounts of narcotics somewhere in the car. I’d check to see if any of the bolts for the trunk paneling have wear marks on them, or if the spare tire looks like it has been removed recently.

VIN is swapped, used a fake out of state title to get a real title. DMV didn't catch it, that's why the license plate isn't coming back with anything wrong with it.

You usually are if you’re a permissive user of the vehicle. But good luck to the OP finding this sketch ball of an owner and that guy coming on the radar screen of an insurance company to corroborate that if/ when he wrecks it.
