Are you lazy?
Can you break up a fight while delivering your drink order safely?
Do gunshots bother you?

Seems like that’s about it.

Every Waffle House has a few employees that are absolute rock stars.

I assume they have other issues that keep them from moving past Waffle House, but their work ethic and ability to multitask is impressive.

HEre's a good prank interview at one in ATL, a couple years old. Start at 4:45 mark to skip the bullshite and get right to the interview.

Few towns over all the staff (including the cooks) are young attractive blonde women. Very popular!

My sister in law was a waffle house waitress for years, she now has an engineering degree from Georgia Tech.

Don't judge those folks.

Are you willing to call drunk people "honey" and "love" and "baby" to make them feel like you're best friends on a nightly basis? They remind me of casino waitresses, just far less hot.

I went in there a lot in my 20’s at 3am. Seemed like there was always a dude manning the grill that was absolutely killing it, cooking 10 things at once, all of it cooked to perfection.

The whole “Waffle House fighting” thing is very overblown. They’re almost all just normal greasy spoon diners.

That’s the “person” I was referring to.

Usually looks like he’s one step away from malnourished and I assume his name is usually Rickie.

Go to one after midnight in a city or college town. Something WILL go down. It's not overblown at all. The stereotype exists for a reason.

When I had to hire environmental services employees I just required a pulse. Anything beyond that was a plus.

Waffle House between 6-10am is different than 12-4am.

They cook all of the food in front of you. Think about what goes on at IHOP in the kitchen at midnight. I can guarantee my waffle never hit the floor at WH.
