Is anyone else getting about 3 of these a day? I get them from all different states.
I'm already on the 'Do Not Call Registry'...
I never answer & I've been blocking each number but wondering if that just makes it worse.
Anyone have a remedy???

Just give them your social number and they will stop.

If you are on AT&T install the call protect app. It has made life much better since I installed it. It automatically blocks known scam numbers and will alert you to telemarketers, etc with a visual notice instead of the regular ring/vibrate. Much less intrusive.

Did you apply to fema or SBA after the August flood? I have been getting a ton of calls after that. I have heard others make this accusation but I found it curious. Student load debt payoff( of which I have none)., vehicle extended warranty, business line of credit, American security services, and a bunch of nonprofits. I just press 0 continually and that will get you off the list for some.

Answer and have an impressive fart audio keyed up and just play it several times until they hang up. I do it all the time and chuckle the entire length of the call.

This is how I handle them...

I've been getting these too it drives me crazy. It's always disguised as some random persons number too because if I miss the call and call back the person who answers has no idea what I'm talking about

Doesn't matter to "businesses" that don't adhere to the law.

What is the name of this magical app. I see a few protect apps listed. How does it look?

this.
How are they getting local cell numbers that are working numbers?
I almost felt bad when I called back and "motha-fricked" the person who answered.

It's called AT&T Call Protect. Blue and white striped shield with an orange circle and white telephone superimposed on the shield for the icon.
