Guys, you've missed the whole point of the movie.
It wasn't so much about her loving him, but more of jack releasing her from the structured way her life was going to have to be.
He changed her in helping her see how life can be just living day by day.
Everything that she became was because of her eyes being opened by Jack.

So she barely tries to save his life, and dies and doesn't end up with her husband and father of her children? And it wasn't about love? That makes it worse.

This is why many women have affairs. It is also, ultimately, a lie and they find this out. Jack just died before Rose could find it out.

Every single character that rose comes in contact with in that movie is negatively affected it by her. What a terrible human and maybe the worse villain in a movie of all time

I mean the damn boat doesn’t even sink if the officers in the crows nest aren’t distracted by her PDA

you know how it is, girls love to be seduced... And it was probably worse in the days when females didn't pick their lifetime partners and had most of that arranged by family.
