How should I pop the question?

Or how did you do it?
I bought a ring for the future Ms.Scooba. (Pic in my avi)
I'm not good at public speaking so I need something low key, maybe a sign or something. I'm going hunting with her dad this weekend so I figured I would ask him after we put the guns away. I have a few options for the location. We are in Nola a lot and we are taking a short trashy Carnival cruise to Cozumel in a few weeks.

do it in private so if she says not right now, or no way, you don't have to be there after the people in the next table overhear.
