Stop defending them. It’s total bullshite any everyone knows it. The speed limits dropping like they do is total garbage.

Here you go again, jumping to the defense of your little hometown.

Good point. Doesn’t mean they have to drag the rest of the world down to hell with them though.

I don't live in either one. I just find it funny that a transplant like you thinks everyone else should change what they are doing to suit you. I don't like the speed traps either, but they aint going anywhere and they've been there for forever. Hell, there are signs in each town posting the 45MPH.

How fricking stupid do you have to be to still get a ticket?

Hypothetically going the 55.5 miles from I110 to I49 using HWY190 at a constant speed of 70mph would take approximately 47.6 minutes.

You honestly see nothing wrong with cops sitting at the bottom of the bridge and the speed limit going from 65 to 45 coming down said steep bridge? There is no warning the speed just drops. It’s very dishonest and makes the locals look like scumbags.

Rattled your inferiority complex cage once again.
You are too easy dude. Take the sand out of your vagina. Your neck of the woods blows and the people make it 10x worse.

how quickly could you get from I-49 to the old bridge?

is that factoring in the time it takes the Port Barre cop to write up the obligatory speed trap ticket?

Krotz Springs would drop theirs to 15 mph if the rest of 190 were 70.

When my Dad retired to 3 Mile Lake we joked that he didn’t want to see us anymore. After making that drive a few times we weren’t laughing about it.

Be careful on that Hwy boys. Had two friends die in a crash out there. Driving way too fast when a car pulled out in front of them

Yes, it is a really crappy thing to do but you as the driver, can clearly see from the top the bridge that you are entering a small town. It is not like they were hiding the town behind a tree waiting to surprise you. I am not defending their actions but let's not dismiss our own actions.

Maybe force certain 18 wheelers with extra large loads to take this route for safety.

Haven't been through there (because I'm from Texas), but this would surely beat the road to a pulp very quickly.
