30 German short haired pointer, he is awesome. I would recommend the breed if you’re active and bird hunt

10 years ago, went to vet today and told he’s got 6 mo- 1 yr. he’s in bad shape, is coughing incessantly and has always been a total ahole, but he’s my buddy.

I’ll put him down shortly.

21, just put her down in January. It was at a time in my life where I was going between living with my parents and living with my girlfriend and her family when we first started dating. She would come with me back and forth, was my side kick. Had to put her down two weeks after my first child was born

I was six when my father purchased a male and a female Rottweiler to start a little kennel project of his own. We went through about five litters total with the same make but two different females. My job was to scoop up and clean up dung from the back yard all those years. I loved having those litters and it was hard for me to see them sold off. Btw, there was very little profit financially.

16. Saw an ad in the paper for lab puppies about 6 weeks old. No papers. 40 bucks a piece. Went out to the address. All the pups had wandered out of the yard but one little runt. She had dug her a nice hole in the shade to get some relief from the July heat. Walked towards her and she clambered out of that hole and met me about half way. No chance I wasn’t taking her home, felt meant to be. She was a great companion.

She passed in February. fricking cancer

I had my own dog before I started school. We lived in the country, so we had three dogs. Buckshot was a mutt, but he was mine. My brothers were already in school, so he followed me all over the yard. We had a neighbor that trained horses on his place next door. I 'd go watch the neighbor, and the horses, through the fence. Buckshot would sit there with me.

When we moved into town, I had to get rid of Buckshot. He went to live with one of my dad's fishing buddy's from the mill. At least once a month for the next couple of years, I'd either go see him at Big Red's house in Natchez, or he'd bring him to see me. We moved to another state the summer after the third grade. I never saw Buckshot, or Big Red again.

35, Boston Terrier. Apartments ain't that big of a deal for having a dog, but the long hours are an issue. I feel guilty about leaving my dog by herself too long when I work late.

Soccerfut Bonus Answer: I turned on Smashing Pumpkins: Tonight, Tonight on the way home.
