More and more college grads are moving back home nowadays for one reason or another, with that being said, my answer is 25.

I couldn't get out of my folks' place fast enough. Don't even like going back to visit.

I know someone who's 25 and still lives with his parents. Oldest I know of. He may never be on is own. I feel bad for the parents, but it's their own fault.

I "moved back home" after college and probably made more than both of my parents (individually). I was a pretty bad mooch . My first year of work was travelling for training over half the time. I spent most of that time crashing at friends houses or travelling for work. Wasn't worth getting a plce of my own. Then I was getting married, so I house shopped for several months until I got a house. I'm great full to them and everyone else that floated me while I saved up. Really got my finances sure up really quickly. Not ashamed at all. I owned my own house by 25 or 26.

I left at 18, came crying back 3 months later. Then left for good at 22. Now my parents are getting too old to be by themselves. Sucks but they may have to live with my family or siblings family soon. So somehow you eventually go back home with loved ones.

After college, I lived with the parents till I was 32, financially it was awesome, socially it sucked....

I had 2 boats and a house by the time I moved out....

Side note, I was the baby in the family, so I had no other siblings living at the house at the time which made it much easier....
