Precisely.

It's not being "color blind," per se. I notice skin color differences, of course. It just doesn't sway my thinking one way or another anymore than hair color or some other similarly insignificant feature.

Not very often but last week we were traveling and my wife bought my kids a dry erase coloring book and crayons.

Each color crayon had an image on it that corresponded to the color.

For example red had a strawberry yellow had bananas.

Well, the black crayon had raccoons on it. I found that to be somewhat racist.
