How often do you change your cabin air filter?

Seems like every time I get a service they ask me if I want to change it.

once in 5 years. Do it yourself.

do you also let them do the $150 engine treatment that is gonna REALLY boost your engine performance??

Never officially change it. But I have a brand new one I put in right before I get my oil changed, just so that they don't ask that question. Take it out and put the dirty one back in when they are done. When they still ask, I go ballistic and show them the box and explain I changed it 10 minutes ago. Get a free oil change out of it.
I don't really do this, but it's probably not a terrible idea.

every six months. I have them sent through amazon for mine truck and wifes suv. It takes about 30 minutes to change. I always laugh when they say I need to change it at the dealership and say that is odd since it was changed two weeks ago.

I haven’t a clue. Let me ask my property manager at Lake Winnipesaukee and get back to you.

Your cabin or engine air filter?
I think I've only ever changed the engine filter once, probably should've changed it more over the last 290k miles.
Cabin air filter, I have to take the glove compartment off to get to it. I only change it when I notice the a/c isn't blowing as hard. So probably every 4-5years. Usually find a branch, some bees up in it somehow

When I don't feel like changing my oil and bring it to a quick place, they always ask me. I had one place in BR even grab a dirty filter and show it to me (saying it was mine).

Once. Right after pollen season ends in late spring/early summer

Had a few places ask me if I want to change it. However my car doesn't have one.. so I just say no and remember never to trust them.

when THE MICE NEED A NEW BED.

This is the OT. We don't change the filter. We change the car.

Yep, and I typically call them out on it, too.

What kind of car doesn't have one?

Yep, once a year. We have a great big ole oak tree; when the pollen and catkins are done with ( usually in late April/early May), time to replace the cabin filters in all 4 of our cars...
Same with wiper blades, every year about the same time. Once the threat of freeze is over, and before afternoon thundershowers become common, out with the old and in with the new.

Of course they do. Honda charged my mom $40 labor to do it. It's literally a 1 minute job that requires only the ability to open the glove box.
