How obedient are you to the attendant at Benny’s carwash?

Calm down Benny’s attendant. I see you waving frantically because I don’t pull within a razors edge to the back of the car in front of me. I’m all for efficiency of loading cars into the wash, but c’mon man, some people don’t know when to put it back in drive on the way out or will crush the brakes for no reason. Plus Benny’s management will tell you to piss off if your car gets damaged. I’ll take the extra foot of distance every time while you lose your mind.

Do they automatically spray the bug remover shite or do you have to beg?

Pelican Pointe Mandeville they treat it like liquid gold. I don’t pull up until they do it, dude waving frantically.

Benny's can go to hell in general. If you love your car then do not bring it there for any reason, especially oil changes.

I don't like getting close to the other cars in there, either.

Their locations are always clean and the staff is friendly. The places with gas are always free of hobos and they openly greatly support Baton Rouge cops. Why should I dislike them?

The times I’ve gone to Benny’s have been pleasant. $4 for a solid car wash instead of having to mess with it myself.

Because the one time you go there and they screw up your car (for us it was an oil change where they stripped the screw of the oil pan and tried to cover it up) they take no responsibility and are completely incompetent. It isn't worth it for the type of people they could hire. No thanks.

A few years ago, I accidentally put my truck in reverse and backed over the little wheel pusher things. Completely shut down the entire carwash. Took them like 20 minutes to fix it, because the pushers coming behind the first one couldn't lift my truck. People ended up getting out of their cars inside of the carwash. They had to call the owner in to reset it.

It was a fun Saturday morning

What I don't get is why so many leave the blue tape on their wiper for so long. It's almost a car wash badge of honor

I'm somewhat disappointed. I half expected an organized "frick with the Benny's attendant today" uprising.

I used to have their unlimited wash sticker on my woods 4x4. I'd bring it up there, filthy. Run it through while they all pissed and moaning about it getting the drums dirty. Drive to the pressure washers on airline, clean under fenders and soak everything in degreaser.

Then drive back to have it cleaned again

When I worked in BR, I'd get it washed twice everyday on my lunch break, just because. Raining or not.

Dude, if you take your car anywhere other than a real mechanic for even an oil change, then you're asking for shite like this to happen.
