So have you ever seen a FULL keg?
I have not. A 1/2 keg is freaking heavy.
I guess "keg" is an industry standard for 30 gallons of beer or so. It's probably a measurement used during the brewing and packaging process.

Now that's a name I haven't heard in a while. He was our keg guy when I went to LSU 25 years ago.

Oh I know.
Just seems like a funny quirk that it is still technically a “half keg.”

At least go somewhere like Parish and get some quality beer for your guests.
They offer various brews in "keg" quantities.

Only one answer with prices?

Tigerland mart was 45 bucks in the early 90s.
Hope that helps.

Full Size Keg = 1/2 a barrel
1/2 Keg = 1/4 barrel

The cheapest 1/4 keg and 1/2 keg regularly in stock at Total wine is Yeungling Lager believe it or not. I think 80.99 for a 1/4
