How much time per day do you devote to using people?

How often do you ponder how you can get other people to do things for you to make your life easier?

1. Your friend casually mentions that he was going to Sam's before coming over to watch the game with you.

Do you automatically default to "what might I need from Sams that I could get him to get so I don't have to"?

2. You find out your SO has a day off coming up that you don't.

How far in advance do you start plotting and planning your list of things that "must be done"?

Is this something that came to you naturally or did it take years of practice to hone your craft?

Not counting work, where it's part of my job to get other people to do things for me, I'd say close to zero minutes. Every now and then I ask my girlfriend to get something for me at the store, but we don't live together, so that's rare. And even if I asked her to get something, it would only take her a minute if she was already at the store.

In non work situations it's usually me doing the "favors".

Almost never. I hate feeling like I'm putting people out in any sort of way.

I don't do any of that shite, but I have a buddy who does.

He's a good dude though and probably doesn't think anything about it because if the roles were reversed he would pick something up if I ask him.

If I have time off my SO wants to give me a list of shite to do. Prob to keep me out of trouble as much as it is that's she jealous. I just do what I want anyway.

I used to work with a guy who worked his tail off trying to get others to do his work for him. He could have expended less effort by just doing it himself.

Every time I say "that's the dumbest thing I've seen posted" someone comes along and proves me wrong. This is one of those times.

Very little. I do more things for myself now than I did 10 years ago.

I still pay for electricians and car maintenance because I value safety.

Never. I hate asking anyone for help almost to a fault. Also, like a poster said before me, I avoid people as much as I can because people suck and will use you if you let them much like yourself.

None. I don't have enough faith in people to do simple tasks correctly so id rather do things myself.

I'm the opposite as I suspect most people are. irl if I see a chance to do something for someone, I do it. And enjoy it.
