Lighten up Sally. I can make a fun, relative joke about your friend’s current situation and not be offended at the same time.

There two hard and fast rules in NOLA.

1. Don't piss in the street
2. Don't touch the horse.

Remember these and your chances of getting arrested go down 90%

This seems like the worst problem for me if I were there. I would be so tempted to get relief on a side street.

At least ask first. If the cop's cool with it, he'll let you know.

I have seen people not ask first and find themselves pinned between a horse and a wall waiting on a trip to central lockup.

Excellent at crowd control and defending/representing businesses.

Guy in button down polo pissed in the bathroom sink at a bar because he didn’t want to wait. He grabbed him and made him take off his shirt and clean the sink.

I'm gonna say "all of it" considering the foolishness I saw out at Endmymion yesterday happening right in front of cops.

I saw a girl jump the barricade on Wed night. Cop handled it like a pro. Told her to get back over and calmly explained to her where she could cross safely

We need a 24/7 live can at OPP booking during Mardi Gras. That would be must see TV.

They definitely ignore discreet smoking of the weed. The French Quarter smells like the parking lot of a Colorado dispensary

I believe weed is mostly decriminalized in NOLA. You may get slapped with a ticket but they’re certainly not arresting people for it & definitely not during Mardi Gras.

Last night near the end of the route I was happy to see an officer walk under a tent and tell this guy to turn down the radio or change the station. They were playing some dirty arse music loud as all hell. The cop told them that there were kids around and if they needed to talk about it they could come out in the street.

The music went off and all was well.
