I tried sleeping 8 hours and would wake up groggy. I find I feel my best when I get 6 1/2 to 7.

Jesus. Are you all going to bed early or just getting by on a few hours every night of the week?

I was wondering the same thing. If I wake up at 4am, I'm going to be asleep by 8pm that evening. I'm always in bed between 9pm and 10 pm, and my first alarm is set for 5:45am and second for 6:15am. What's the point of waking up at 3am just to piddle around for three or four hours before starting your day? If you are working out before work or something, I get it. But waking up at 3am just for the frick of it is asinine to me. If I wake up at 3am, I'm going take a piss and going back to sleep.

Huge priority for me. I get 7-8 hours a night. In bed by 9:00 pm,and usually fall asleep pretty easily. Up at 5:00 AM to workout and start my day.

Having the energy to exercise, teach all day (middle school kids), and then come home to deal with my own kids takes rest.

It's recommended that you get 7 hours of beauty rest every night. 8 if you are ugly.

The OT probably needs 8-9 hours.

I’m usually in bed by 7-8pm every night. Sometimes I’ll watch TV for a bit, but I’m asleep by no later than 9pm at the latest.

I prob average 8 hours a night of sleeping.

Undefeated sleep calculator. I’ve been trying to prove this thing wrong and I always wake up super refreshed if I do it right.. no matter the amount of sleep I get.

4-5 hours is a normal night. Anything over 6 is almost nonexistent. It is miserable.

I used to sleep 8-9 hours every night.

The last year and half or so, I’ve only been able to sleep for abt 5 hrs a night.

And even that is isn’t a solid block of sleep. I usually wake up a couple times.

I saw the recent post about alarm clocks and was shocked at how many people are just "up and at em" at 3 or 4 am. Jesus. Are you all going to bed early or just getting by on a few hours every night of the week?

I'm in bed by 745 and wake between 330 and 4. There isn't any point in staying up later than that during the week right now since it gets dark early. I run and do yoga with my wife in the morning before I leave for work. My garmin says I get an average of 7.5 hours of sleep per night. When the time changes I just change what time I go to/leave work. I'll be in bed by 845 and wake up between 430 and 5.

I have a 4 month old dealing some issues, so 3-4 on a bad night, 6 hours on a good night. I haven’t seen 8 hours in a while.
