According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials, Austin Potts of Arkansas has been charged with two counts of felony Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, one count Acts Resulting in Gross Injury, one count Failure to Possess Current Registration on a Vessel and one count Failure to Have Required Equipment on a Vessel after an altercation with two anglers fishing around the Sunset Cove Marina on Ft. Cobb Lake in Oklahoma. We followed up with Jacob Russell who was the owner of the the fiberglass Nitro bass boat that was rammed by Potts and co-worker in a jon boat on Ft. Cobb Lake. He was aware of the charges and is still seeking restitution for the damage done to his boat. His boat had to be totaled by insurance because it is now considered as having been in an accident which voids the warranty on their boat. The outboard motor was also badly damaged as was the trolling motor and some rods. found on google just some fyi

This looks like it may be the same old boy.

I’m thinking he might have issues.

An Oakland man was recently put on 10-years-probation after pleading guilty to criminal charges filed against him in Washington County Circuit Court. At various times, 26-year-old Austin Douglas Potts has been accused of attacking an ex-girlfriend in Mountain Home, assaulting the same woman and her brother in Washington County, injuring a Baxter County Deputy Sheriff, driving while intoxicated in Marion County and ramming into a boat occupied by two members of a college fishing team on a lake in Oklahoma. His charges stemming from events in the four locations have included assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, 3rd degree domestic battery, 1st degree battery, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental operations, fleeing and violations of Oklahoma boating regulations.

No preference. I do not pretend to be an expert. It is what I have. Cannot use something you do not have.

this is what tigerdroppings does. I’m genuinely curious as I have bought a mix of each and would love to know why one would prefer one over the other and you think I’m trying to set you up for a gotcha.

The good guys were fishing in a nice boat and some bad men in a ugly boat kept on ramming into them. One of the bad guys did a bunch of other bad stuff too. He's a big ole mean butthead. The bad guys were arrested by the police and they got punished. But the good guy's boat is still broken from when the bad guys rammed it.

There is 0 chance that the guy who hit him after bills, rent, car payments, food, insurance that he has a dime leftover to pay the $15k or whatever that boat costs. And even if he did have the money and was ordered by court, there's a very little chance he pays up to the victim.
