Right? As soon as you tell Louisiana it's getting a C-, it's like Aw, man, we gotta stop trying so hard.

A C- to a D is nothing more than a count hair, not significant.

I don't expect a huge jump, because I think the way the back log works the numbers will continue to fall for the next week until it starts to come back up.

Do you also believe this could potentially assist in the delaying of the stay at home orders for the state or have little to no effect?

This is happening everywhere. Here in Florida traffic is back to normal. I don't know where they are going but it's like they latched onto Trump's original sentiment about opening back up the country after Easter.

These Governors are looking for any reason to extend through May and ahoes out driving around like normal and causing the 2nd wave are going to be responsible for another month of this BS.

I want this to get back to normal too. Just chill the f out and stay at home unless your essential or need groceries and Birx says shopping should be limited to once every two weeks so stock up instead of heading to Walmart everyday because you can't sit your damn arse at home.

The southern states have the worst unacast grades in the country. We need to be better than that, the west is getting B's and SEC country straight D's. This is seriously fd up.

Reasonable people can disagree on whether or not we're doing the right thing, too much or too little in regards to this whole stay at home deal but I would hope that we could all agree that getting straight up graded on our movements is nuts.

That motherfricker is seriously trying to cancel my “go topless weekend” (May 15-17). That’s going to be the straw that breaks this camel’s back.

He was never gonna end this lockdown before the end of May at earliest. His mind was made up a long time ago. The ‘data’ he’s referring to that shows what bad boys and girls we’ve been being comes from Apple/Google location tracking that has been employed in many states to monitor public behavior. He’s using this info to scold us, as per usual procedure. When the time comes, he’ll say he’s only extending this because we did not behave ourselves like good little children. It’s condescending as frick.

I, for one, am not surprised or shocked in the least. This is nothing new.

I swear I think that JBE's main objective since becoming governor has been to see just how badly he can damage the state's economy and how many jobs he can destroy/run off to other states. When his term is up I would like to see an economist do a study to compare the number of Louisiana jobs at the start and end of his term.

None, because the O-T and Poli Talk boards tell me this is a giant nothingburger, the stats are wrong, the predictions are lies, and we should have re-opened everything yesterday.

If everyone had been staying and home and they weren’t sick, going to a family members home who wasn’t sick won’t matter. Are there people that went to visit sick people? Probably. Are there people that went somewhere sick? Probably. But idiots like that are going to do what they are going to do regardless.

the people gathering are the same people who are visiting each other daily. Parents, kids, grand kids, siblings. They are all watching each others kids right now. If they all meet up on Sunday it doesn't matter....

Further proof these idiots live in fantasy land. They close down the economy and put 16 million out of or reduced work, and expect people to have cash/ability to buy food for 42 meals for their family? Not to mention addressing essential items that might be out of stock on that given day.

The Gulf South is predominantly suburban; and agrarian and manufacturing driven. We have a higher percentage of people who can’t work from home when compared to Seattle, Bay Area, etc.

The gig is up and the vail has been pulled back. People are going to start returning to normal life again. JBE can pout about it but the tide is turning and that is what will happen regardless of any proclamations.
