How much money do people make off all these pyramid schemes?

I feel like I see a lot of young women who have made these pyramid schemes (advocare, arbonne, herblife) their full time job. Crazy thing is they are always traveling. How much do they make to be able to afford traveling regularly?

None unless they’re at the very top over tons of other people.

Depends on how high you are on the pyramid

I haven’t a clue. I’ll ask one of risk management expert CFOs and get back to you.

One time I read the average network sales person sold about $2,000 or so of product. They also typically paid for sale materials. They are actually the targeted customer. The company challenge is to recruit enough of these people.

97 percent lose money
2.9 percent make a little
0.1 percent make a shitload which is why they work.

Most of them have a off shore baw footing the bill for the trips, and they use the pics from the trips to sell the scam to other people in order to sucker more people and get them out of the mistake they’ve made.

My wife is from the south and the amount of female friends she has from back home that are pawns of MLM schemes is amazing

There are three groups I've seen personally.
I have friends that do it and I don't think they make any real money. More of a "post shite on FB and hope my friends buy stuff"
Then there are the people who do pretty good. 3-10k / month income.
Then there is the "wtf? You make how much?" group. I've seen first hand how they make it happen. They hustle hard and talk to tons of strangers just like any salesperson would do. I personally know two multi-millionaires in that group.
It takes a special personality to make it work. One that most people (including me), don't have.
You can make decent money doing it, but it's a lot of work and you have to get lots of people to be distributors for you.
So those girls you know are probably doing pretty well or they're putting on a front and racking up credit card bills.

There is a single mom who works in my department as a physical therapist. She’s pretty and sells one of the lipstick brands. Last year she made at least 60k in addition to a free trip to Costa Rica and a car. She is always hustling though (ALWAYS on social media) and has worked her way up pretty high in a few years. She also got a Muslim lady who has like 300k followers on Instagram under her who does a lot of make up tutorials despite wearing the traditional clothing which has helped a lot.

I'll answer that for you. For the most part, they aren't making shite, as these are fricking scams. They are probably traveling to these locations for a 'pow wow' from the said company to help motivate them to sell more. You can usually tell how rich their husbands are by how long these women stay in the business, or if their husband has an actual balls and cuts them off from this bullshite. No way most of these women are making money, and most are so brainwashed into the system that they can't even see the pyramid scheme for what it is.
Also along the way, I wonder how many friends are lost during this process as these women keep bugging everyone that they know to buy their bullshite.

I know a few who sold Stella and Dot, Rodan and Fields, or Mary Kay back when they were in college. I guess they made enough to make it worthwhile for extra spending money as students. But as soon as any of them graduated and got real jobs, they quit doing the MLM stuff, so it couldn’t have been too much money

I got involved in one about 2 years ago. I joined this Facebook group that had other distributors in it. About 95% of the group we’re dreamers, but there were 3 people particular who I followed that were successful. I watched what they do and it’s extremely hard work to make these things work. Not your everyday 9-5 making a living hard work. You have to be an a-hole and have no shame bothering strangers you run into anywhere. I’m talking thousands of strangers. Most people who get in it think they can sign up friends and family, and friends of those friends and be successful. That’s just not the kind of hard work I wanted to associate myself with so I opted out.

I know a lady who is top 10 Rodan & Fields.. She clears well over 100k a month. Her daughter who is nineteen now makes about the same.

Exactly.
What’s funny is if these people put half the amount of work into a regular job that they put into these MLMs, they’d make a pretty decent living.
I just can’t wrap my head around it. The stuff some of these people post would get me fired. “OMG it’s soooooooo nice having a job where I can lay on the beach all day and make BIG BUCKS! #bossbabe”
They brag about getting a paycheck, like it’s some kind of surprise. It would be like if I went into McDonald’s every day and worked a shift and then at the end of the week, bragged for getting a paycheck for it.
