If you drive a truck and don't use it for work or towing shite you have a terminal case of penis envy
What about camping in the back of it? Can I do that without worrying about other people's penii? How about hauling things not work related? Throwing some bikes and kayaks in without having to worry with roof racks and such. Is that okay?

I know this is the OT and basically unheard of, but the majority of Americans usually aren't in a position where they can just part ways with $30,000 - $45,000 up front. Crazy...I know.
Most OT'ers are probably just like most Americans, couldn't come up with $400 cash within 24 hours to save their lives

$60,000 for an automobile. Yikes. What a wealth destroyer.
I've been trying to follow this 10% rule of car purchasing I came across on Financial Samurai. I got pretty close.

Don't own a truck and don't have a car payment.

Wrong smart guy! Don't need mine for work and rarely tow shite, but i use it all the time to haul shite that me or my friends couldn't do in a car. You are a hater!
I love friends like you. You get to pay for the vehicle, its upkeep, and gas, and i get to use it when I need it for the price of a six pack.
Thanks truck friends.

I know I know, but we needed a new truck capable of pulling a 18' trailer full of horse and the wife chose this one. Happy wife, happy life.

It's not because of that safe driving bonus check commercial...that shite is a lie. I'm not scared of much in life, but lots of women scare me when they drive.
