Funny you mention losing my job....I was laid off after 32 years on 8/3, at 2 pm.

I had a job at 2:45 pm with the competition, with a better truck allowance.

Roth investments are conservative.

The big nut is in the 401. I'm 53, and just about ready to hang it up. Maybe I'll pay cash for a new truck for a retirement gift to myself.

My note is $736/month. Work allowance covers all plus some extra. Guess I'm not as fiscally responsible as most here.......but it's a really nice truck.

So much d***-measuring in this thread... How 'bout driving what you want, and not giving two ****s what another grown man drives or how much $$ they pay for it?
