My neighbors did this with a similar sized one and it sucks as a fire pit. Too big. I’d just buy a regular one.

I am a professional Sugar Kettle restorer. Can range from $200 to $1000+. Depends on size (I'm assuming this is large). Also check the bottom, if it says made in china, it's from Big Lots and is a knock-off.

Would you prefer them to melt sugar?

Instead of making a thread about it, you should be making him a sandwich and asking if there is anything you can do to help convert into a fire pit.

Sounds like he's a cuck, else he'd just do it.

Don’t. He can tip it over to drain it after it rains.

If he drills holes, it’s trashed.

Find an end cutoff from a smallish propane tank, like 200 gallon. Or buy an old tank and cut the end off once verifying no combustibles are inside the tank.

We use ours as a fire pit in the fall/winter

It's a mosquito disco party in the summertime.

I have no preference either way. Just stating a simple observation, brother. I ain't judging you if you got one out front or out back. I promise.

Here’s a pic of my front one. It’s basically the same but with no fountain kit.

Hey neighbor

Eta - obviously joking. But my guess is like $1500 -$2000. Get a solo stove they’re better anyways.
