My wife cuts my hair. She started while I was still in the Army because I got tired of having to go to a barber every 10-14 days. I don't have a high & tight anymore, but she does a good job.

I haven’t had a haircut in 6 months. I look like homeless Patrick Dempsey. The beard is well groomed though.

$0 - probably 15 years ago I started cutting my own hair with clippers. Tight on the sides and back, blend in the top. Fairly easy with different length clipper attachments. I really started doing it to save time. Any decent barber ship I needed to be at before it opened (usually 7 AM). Otherwise, the wait was just too long. I'll never go back.

Mine charges $25 for a kid’s cut.
I pay $45 plus tip for haircut and beard.

You gotta find ones that do appointments. Yeah I’d never sit and wait if that’s the only option.

Hadn't paid for a cut in over 15 years. Need a little help from the wife in the back though.
Last time I went it was $10 and I'd tip $10.

A set of Clippers are cheaper. Do it yourself.

My next door neighbor built his wife a barber shop building behind their house during Covid so she could keep working regardless of the government stupidity re shutting everything down at the time.
So instead of driving 30 minutes into town and waiting hours to get in on stand by (old schools barber shops were all walk up first come first serve back in the day, but now even men’s barber shops all cater to scheduled appointments it seems) - I schedule with her and walk over on my lunch break ( I work from home) and it literally takes me 15 min to get my cut in.
She charges $23 but I give her a $12 tip since it’s such a convenience me for me.
So TLDR is $35

Oh, $20 or so. Before tip.
But I haven’t had a haircut in a while. 6 months or more maybe.

I am female and haven't paid for a haircut since pre-COVID. Youtube/Google/Internet are amazing resources.

Zip, Nada, Zero. I've got a good clipper set with different attachments and have been cutting my own hair so long I really can't remember the last time I sat in a barber's chair.
I'd venture to guess at least 50 years or so. I believe the last haircut I had cost me $5 with tip.

Both menfolk at my house go to a lady barber just up the road. $35 with tip.
I pay $125 for color ($75) and cut ($50) every six weeks and that’s a bargain. Most places around me start around $180.

I get a #1 faded into a #2 with a little off the top and a hard part. $45 with tip. Takes about 15 minutes to cut my hair.
