Then spend as much as you can afford. It will increase in value.

This is such bullshite. The diamond industry is the biggest rip off perpetrated on humans ever.

Don't mortgage your future on some overpriced piece of crap diamond, and if your girl doesn't understand kick her to the curb.

I complimented a banker friend of mine on how stunning his wife's diamond was. He told me it was CZ and that anyone that would buy an overpriced diamond knew nothing about the future and present value of money. I asked if she knew it was CZ and he said hell yes.

Dude obviously knows the value of a dollar and has a strong pimp hand.

My wife's diamond was about 65K

We never actually went to look at rings. I had an idea of what she liked so I sketched it and brought it to the jeweler my family uses.

My bitch wife came to me debt free with a great career and a small hoard of cash. She wanted an heirloom that she can give to the daughter I will never conceive. In accordance with modern custom, I make her pay for half of everything so it's a fair trade.

A ring is not an investment. No jewelry is. Women are easily impressed by stupid shite and love status symbols.

This is something to be smart about.

Going out and buying that 10k dollar ring the guy tells you is worth it just means youre dumb.

Shop around, buy stones only and build the ring after, or ask your grandmother for a stone to keep it in the family. These are much smarter and more personal ways to go about it than going looking for a number attached to a piece of rock.
