So.. No entertainment industry, no Silicon Valley, no 90s tech Boom, etc-- basically the US stagnates as our economy dies when the Rust Belt does?

Only benefit would be that the people quality would increase. California and Florida are barely even America anymore. Nothing but third world foreigners and illegals. Who have done nothing but taken over the place and implemented their third world style of living.

Louisiana would have to be close to the top of lists of states you would actually want to get rid of if not for oil and gas industry. The US economy would take a huge hit without CA
