We passed a collection hat around the room to all of my siblings and their SO for the kids. Turns out I ended up putting 100 dollars in and a collection of the 4 other families totaled 26 bucks.

So, at the store all the kids were picking out stuff and I got left at the counter when the check came out. I ended up having to add another 50 bucks.

I tried not to feel exploited.

The only thing trashier than spending $300 on fireworks is being the neighbor of that guy who just watches the fireworks show being put on without spending any of his own money to actually participate himself.

The only thing trashier than that is the neighbor who shoots off fireworks and then doesn't clean up the debris up that falls into the neighbors yard.

I'm often not even home on New Years Eve, but come home to shite all over my yard from the neighbor's fireworks.

Usually about $200, but if the weather forecast doesn’t change then it’ll be $0.00.

~$20 for a kiddie pack and some colored sparklers.

My fans love my pyrotechnic creation called "Sparkle Spin Tank" with a four smoke bomb salute. It's pretty intense.

I’m buying some bottle rockets for a prank that will probably result in me getting arrested or beaten up or both

I spent $21 last night on a FEW small things (for photos, not NYE). The prices are ridiculous.

The margins must be ridiculous right? Why else would people put up the effort to sell just a few weeks a year?

I'm not sure yet... I'll have to see how much is laying next to the fireplace once this cold snap is over... I'd hate to literally light my money on fire, if I need to burn it to keep warm.
