I am on vacation and reflecting on how fortunate I am to get 5 weeks per year and that many banked as well.

Never valued time near high enough early in career. Somehow I missed that is one of most precious resources we have.

I get 28 days per year. In another year I'll get 33.

288 hours a year. 6 holidays plus 6 weeks. It’s one of the reasons I stay there.

You’re wasting vacation time reflecting on just not being at work.

So you’re thinking about work on your vacation.

Way to not be on vacation while technically you’re on vacation!

Unlimited. Sounds good. Isn't good. Would rather have set time that gets banked.

20 days. Maxed out. No bank where I’m at. Use it or lose it.

Five weeks for me.

That's not a big deal, but women getting paid for 4 months when having a baby and the men getting almost 2 months is the impressive part.

I got three days paid back when we were having kids.

My dad got a promotion in his fifties and the company made a big deal about how he was now eligible for 8 weeks paternity leave

I don't even remember what I got off. I think I got a week off and then worked from home another week.

I just started with this company and get two weeks for 2 years with another 8 days of holidays. Add another 40 hours after my third year. A fourth week after either 5 or 10 years, I forget which.

I'm not sure what we have at my current job. We were done having kids 9 years ago when I started this one so it never mattered to me.

3 weeks plus some OT hours if you want the PTO instead of the pay.
