The frick

I stop zero times if I can make it. The fun is getting to where you are going.

Once for gas and piss.

Fill up before you leave....you shouldn't have to stop and get fuel on a 5 hour drive......if I need to piss I'll just pull over at at exit and piss on the side of the road get back on the interstate

That’s about the distance to Mobile or Gulf Shores for me. Usually stop just once.

By myself: 0-1 It's a point A to point B type situation.

With wife/kids: 1-2, could be 3 depending. Better just get your head right and turn it into an experience with no expectations. Or, you will be the one with the "bad attitude".

I don't drive for fun. If I'm driving somewhere, it's just another thing in the way of me doing what I want to be doing.

5 hours? I'd stop once right at the end to refill the tank, that's it.

Just me? Zero.

My family in tow? 2-3. Lots of small bladders and snacks needed.

1-2 times. I get less than 300mi/tank. My stops are however long it takes to fill up the tank.

You never understood the concept of wanting to get where you're going faster?

Five hour drive is gas up, grab drinks and a snack, no stops until I get there.

5 hour drive, unless perfectly timed usually crosses over one mealtime. So, I'm stopping to grab something to eat. We make slightly over that regularly as we live 5.5-6 hours away from our families and have 2 young kids. Usually only stopping once on that trip and that's with a 3 year old.

I used to drive from Atlanta to New Orleans with just a gas stop and often wouldn’t even pee. Now I am pissing my pants from Greenville to Atlanta. Sometimes twice.

Old. And copious amounts of coffee.
