My significant other and I live in a modest 3000 sq. ft. home without kids. It boggles my mind to see families with 2-3 kids living in these ~ 1500 sq ft cookie cutter houses. How is that even possible?

At what age do kids get too old for bunk beds and sharing rooms?

2000 but I wish it were smaller, I would have no use for anything 3000 sq ft at all and I have kids.

1777 sq/ft. 1 kid. It will be fine if we have another kid, but if we ever get out numbered, we will probably upgrade.

It's less about the pure Square footage number and more about how much of that is "livable space".

That’s a lot of house for two people baw. Do you really need that much space between the two of you?

When they’re old enough to start paying rent.

I have about 1700 sq ft

we just had our first child about 14 months ago and another on the way

I love my house but it quickly got small with all the shite we have bought for the baby

We are looking for a bigger house but I am picky. I want to stay in Southdowns or stay off highland rd between pecue and lee. I do like Kenilworth and could easily buy an older house and update it but would rather just find one move in ready. Hoping the next batch of houses this spring brings us a treasure. I have to have a yard though. Loved the idea of Rouzan type neighborhoods but i just cant get over not having a back yard to play in

I also thought about building on my corner lot in Southdowns. It would be the most expensive route i went though which is not my favorite option

Mine is 1,936 sq. ft. and is a 4-bedroom.

The bedrooms are small except for the master but the kitchen/living area is very open.
