You make great points for me. People have been too extreme on both sides for me. If you are younger without conditions you are going to be fine. Be cautious if you are going to be around older people with pre-existing conditions. It's pretty simple

Do kids count since the flu is more dangerous to them than Covid?

An exercise in perspective. There are currently 251,445 Americans dead from Covid-19. If you spoke one name every 5 seconds, it would take you FIFTEEN days to speak their names. Without pause, without a break. If you put all of those lost souls on a 737 plane, you would see 1,257 jets decimated with all hands lost. Considering that we grounded the Boeing jet after TWO, that is insane that some think we won't have societal consequences.
Wear your mask. Wash your hands. Keep your distance. STAY HOME (EVEN AT HOLIDAYS). Having dinner with a group is not worth crashing another 737 plane and gutting your family.

I hope you are on the next plane

We will have 12 or so family members and another dozen or so friends/ neighbors stop by over the course of the day.

Just me and my kids... wife got the rona so she’ll be stuck in the bedroom. We were planning to have 5 or so family members over

We're going to 3 different large gatherings that day and the govt can eat a dick if they think they'll change that

5 now down from 12
Fear has gotten to two and the BIL popped positive for the rona so that’s 4 more down to quarantine.
