An exercise in perspective. There are currently 251,445 Americans dead from Covid-19. If you spoke one name every 5 seconds, it would take you FIFTEEN days to speak their names. Without pause, without a break. If you put all of those lost souls on a 737 plane, you would see 1,257 jets decimated with all hands lost. Considering that we grounded the Boeing jet after TWO, that is insane that some think we won't have societal consequences.

Wear your mask. Wash your hands. Keep your distance. STAY HOME (EVEN AT HOLIDAYS). Having dinner with a group is not worth crashing another 737 plane and gutting your family.

Me, the wife, and 2 of my 3 kids. From here on out though, somebody here is going to have to invite me over. I can bring a pie.

the key is reducing risk... not eliminating it (which you can't do) while maintaining life as normal as best you can.

If you are high risk, stay at home. the people i will see this Thursday are the same circle of family i have been seeing.

Because i will be around some 65+ people this week, my family will check temps before leaving the house.

I have had COVID, but my wife and kids have not. my wife and 3 year old stay at home, and my older kids go to school. that is the extent of my direct risk pool.

of the 250k you list, most were high risk, with other existing conditions. those types of groups should stay home.

Now remove all the ones that didn't actually die from COVID. Get the frick out of here with this bullshite post.

Or maybe you can do one for all the lives needlessly ruined in the name of government protection. That list would be bigger than your current one though.
