All I have are TD and LinkedIn now, and this is one of the main reasons.

0- My friends aren't idiots.

I have enjoyed a younger retired doctor friend not following the what the leftist are demanding. She's actually speaking her mind and questioning some things as well as sharing some well thought out articles.
She's got some Karen's pissed off, but since she's wealthy and retired, there isn't a damn thing they can do to her.

Some dude living off some sugar mama got their feelings hurt again. It's ok, you'll get over it.

Perfect is 16 years old, not surprised you would defend him/her.

I'm pretty sure that a couple of coworkers that read this site regularly know who I am. I don't generally post inflammatory things but I probably express my opinion more on here than I would if I had Facebook. Neither of them are sky screamers though.

I still use Facebook for some of my photography stuff. The people who lost jobs during this virus fiasco are very vocal. Still have a few Seattle friends and virtue signalling white chicks.

How hard is it to simply not post dumb shite on social media?

This requires the absolute lowest levels of situational awareness.

I turned mine off after the 2016 election. I know that eventually I'd have gotten rude with someone that I know and would just rather avoid that situation.

My wife can share kid pictures.

0 - deleted all social media accounts with my real name on them. I just made fake ones to lurk or for TD threads.

Facebook is good for keeping up with family and friends but you gotta be careful about who you add. Mine got out of control and probably 200 of the "friends" I have are people I never met.

And of course the local community pages are overrun by Karen's and SJWs.

Had a coweorker fired for emailing a picture of a black woman waving her finger with the caption "no you didn't." It was innocuous, the conversation had nothing to do with race and she was fired.

Isn’t it crazy that we are no longer entitled to our own opinions, yet they can call for the killing/dismantling of police forces and we are being told that we must allow our hard earned stuff to be looted in the name of some made up systemic racism?

Stay quiet white boy, your opinions are meaningless now.

Not to mention it doesn't even have to be on a social media platform. They can record conversations without you knowing (ala Donald Sterling). Hell, even through text messages and snapchat, which are what I see used as evidence by the Skai Jackson's of twitter exposing people.

Not justifying racists, but good lord these twitter knights of social justice are obnoxious and downright bad people. There are better ways of dealing with people who are actually racist that don't involve doxxing them.

This is the kinda thing that scares me.

What falls under the definition of "racist" is rapidly growing. If I can get fired for sharing a meme, what else can I get fired for?

We're all probably safer if we don't have any social media, and closely guard what we say around anybody.

Simply disagreeing with the progressive narrative is considered racist.

The only real solution is to stick with people who look and think like you, and never talk about issues in public. It's a horrible strategy, but becoming more necessary.

The two guys I'm thinking of, one of whom no longer works for us, are pretty moderate to conservative mid to late 30s millennials. I'm not too concerned about them knowing who I am.

We used to all occasionally go out for a few beers after work.
