Meh. It's also about educating your workforce about other people who aren't like you and wanting everyone to be treated well.
I get that some aspects of if are over the line. We spend a fortune training employees and the pay and benefits are outstanding.
They want everyone to be treated fairly and don't want to have to fire people or have people quit and go to the competition if it's in any way toxic.
A little of it has to do with the us having some federal government contracts and it's required.
I've worked at some places where a shitload of baws could have damn sure used a little D&I training. Try telling t-boy at the shipyard that the picture he wants to hang in his office or the jokes he's telling is not a good thing.
