Everyone that does needs a class action lawsuit against China and the MSM. Take them to the cleaners for creating this shite show.

I work for a fortune 100 and the negative impact we’re going to feel is tremendous. I’m confident that we won’t have a RIF if this is a short term issue but I am concerned about smaller companies. My group is sales so pay/commission is going to be decreased which is going to cause a trickle down impact. Compound this with the oil prices it’s going to be rough in Louisiana.

great non answer

Sorry. I don’t really have an answer for a virus that may have killed 40 people in the last 90 days.

If you want to panic go right ahead. You’re as much of a problem as those you’re condemning.

so should we not cancel any events? Is cancelling schools too much?

I’m not a problem whatsoever. I’m one of the few who has a grasp on what’s happening, seemingly

why?

Wuhan cases have dropped dramatically. They expect new cases to be 0 in a week or two.

China has no civil rights or due process so the can "resolve" their cases simply by shooting the infected.

Have I said that? I’ve already said suspending the NBA was a good call. Cancelling the CWS, which is 3 months away, is a gross overreaction.

You can’t have a CWS if they don’t play for weeks at a time

The virus fricked up our supply chain for components and our major customer segment is O&G.

Think I may need to learn to code, unfortunately.

So why haven’t the professional leagues outright cancelled? Seems like they’re planning on having a postseason while missing weeks.

ETA: If you’re trying to say that the NCAA is too incompetent to work out the logistics of such an issue, you’re in to something. If you’re trying to say that it literally can’t be done, you’re wrong.

people still think this is just going to blow over in a couple weeks?

China seems to be nearly done with new cases. How long did it last there? I would suspect our period would be much shorter due to our healthcare system, way of life, and the fact that we are in the 80s already here in the south.

That requires intelligence. But they’ll no doubt bitch about the guvment not doing what they should to “help them.” I’ll enjoy seeing their sorry asses melt.

You realize China tried to hide this and delayed any response much longer than we are.
