Nothing wrong with Black folks as long as they don't act black.

Oh yeah, the smart ones will know what I am talking about, the dumb fricks will call me out on this and say

"What do you mean don't act black?"

Change the word "gay" and put in "Downs Syndrome" or "heart defect". Assuming being gay is biologically rooted, it's still abnormal. It is not in nature's best interests and it goes against the standard biological makeup. From a purely scientific standpoint, homosexuality is deviant from the norm. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't love the hell out of my son, just as I would if he had Downs or a heart defect. But I would be disappointed.

I would be sad for the life they would have to live - among the extreme minority in society so, therefore, will never ever be fully accepted. I would love them everything bit as much, but I would not be happy they are gay. Not in the slightest.

If you got to choose with just a yes or no before birth of whether your child would be gay or not, I would venture to guess 99.9% would choose not gay.

Disappointed? Yeah, I would. But I'd still love them no less and wouldn't express my disappointment. It's ultimately their life.

This is pretty much my thoughts on it as well.

In all fairness it depends where you raise them. A gay male of a female who prefers African Americans is going to have a harder go of it in rural alabama than San Francisco.

Only if his appearance is indicative of his behavior/personality. I wouldn't want my daughter dating a TPOS ( in any sense of the word).

Except that homosexuality isn't a defect whatsoever nor is it uncommon in nature

Only going to be disappointed if they are a male with no male siblings. Not because I find homos to be icky, but because I want my name to continue. Not in some shitty, pseudo "we adopted a kid!" way, but in a visceral, concrete manner.
