He is on his way to a perfect score if he's Asian and attends BRMHS

Sure, be encouraged, but don't think too much into what his score will be in 4-5 years. A lot of learning takes place between now and then.

Absolutely. That's about average for a senior, I think. Maybe just a bit below.

I made a 12. I was like the lowest of my friends that took it.

Students rarely improve that much on the ACT.

Baw, you read the questions, then skim the story to find the answers.

got a 18 in the 7th grade. You should be very encouraged, bc I knew HS seniors at the time that were struggling to crack 20. And as another poster stated, a LOT of learning and development takes place between 12-13 and 17-18. but stay on the right track

Is your son a minority? If not, then it does not matter what he scores on the ACT (unless maybe a 35 or 36) in his junior year. He will get little, if any scholarship money. He may get into some good colleges but good luck getting any meaningful assistance based on his ACT score.

Uh, a 30+ and a 3.5 GPA will do you pretty good with just about any in-state school excepting the best public schools (ie Texas, Michigan, etc.,)

The high level kids go to duke tip during summer and then take the act and score 25-30 on act.
