How many of you baws take MLK day off?

The company I work for is a federal government contractor, so it is one of our company holidays.
When I was in the private sector, it was one of a couple "floating" holidays that we could take off if we wanted to, but I never did.
This year it happens to coincide with the inauguration. Bonus!

my company never shuts down, they pay a holiday premium if you happen to be working but we never shut the doors

Unless I'm on vacation, I take every single day off.
I wake up and go fishing or work on woodworking projects with the occasional chore like today I'll fire up my wood splitter and split some oak firewood.
But right now I'm just smoking a joint and drinking coffee.

Used to have MLK when I worked and always thought it or something would be better in the first week of August to break up the summer stretch from July 4 to Labor Day.
