Who is this movie for. It's not for kids. It shits on barbie as an IP, even devaluing barbie as a good example for kids (for jobs, empowering women, etc, which I always got behind as a toy for girls) but it proceeds to shite on the property for 2 and a half hours... so it's not there to sell toys. It's not for men, obviously. It's not for most sane women.
I just don't get it.

Meh. I don't plan to see it but my daughter liked it. She did the double feature with Oppenheimer. She's in her 20s and works for an investment bank. As for OP, how can you function in a perpetual state of anxiety and rage?
