I stocked up on groceries because the store was a madhouse yesterday, but I did that mainly so I don't have to deal with the crowds again. Plus there was an almond milk extreme shortage. Took two store to find the one my kid drinks, so I bought three. Plenty of regular milk, but he can't have that.

Getting together with the neighbors weekly, who also do not want to be socially distant so we can drink and have fun while the kids play.

I already work from home so nothing changed there.

Just bought an indoor trampoline for my kid, we need more indoor activities because the childrens museums and playgrounds are closed here.

Working out in the garage in the mornings instead of going to the gym. Glad our bow flex didn’t sell on Craigslist and I kept a few other workout items.

I didn’t go to Mass this weekend. That’s about the only thing I missed from my routine.

It’s not that I’m choosing to alter my normal routine. But closing and cancelations are doing that for me.

I’m not a mining rep so I don’t visit mines as much as I do other sites. The main one I deal with is Stave Hollow mine. Its not very big and I think it use to be a Drummond mine years ago. It’s off exit 61 on I-22 about 3-5 miles past Traxx Inc.

I’m really not sure what I should do. My job has me in Birmingham and surrounding areas visiting job sites, mines, quarries, shops, and offices all day every day. Also have meetings in conference rooms and usually business lunches daily. My problem is I’m one of those with a chronic health condition that puts me at high risk. What should I do?
All joking aside, you should speak with your supervisor about the fact that you have a chronic health condition that puts you in a high risk group and ask if your job can accommodate you in some way.

As an older person with a chronic health condition, you are exactly the sort of person who should be staying at home for a while, and constantly travelling to meetings is the last thing a doctor would recommend for you right now.

I hope whoever can make that decision isn't a POS and takes your health into account. Politics, college teams, and whatever else aside, we need to look out for each other. Stay safe and healthy, brother.

Solid advice. I can do my job somewhat from home. I may see if that’s an option.

I have 2 sons over 20 that are in college. They will finish online studies quickly each day. So, I have a list of projects for us to go after. It’ll keep us busy and mind off of “you know what”.

Don’t you always post about how you and your SO are in healthcare? Sounds pretty shitty to not be cautious and risk infecting others.

I'm getting ready to head to the parish prison. I'll let everyone know if I survive.

A bunch of us players in Nashville are having it altered for us by virtually every national event shutting down.

And I go the store at 6:00 am for the regular stuff I’m out of.

Speaking of terrible places to live in a time of pandemic. Kind of hard to do "social distancing."

I still have to go to work but am practicing social distancing.

My church announced starting next weekend services will only be online and all events at church (bible studies, etc) postponed. They already stream services online so I watched church online instead of going this weekend.

Not gonna go to my weekly trivia night with my friends.

About to go to the grocery store to see what the wreckage there is. Hopefully can least get some beer.

I still have work this week, with no plans to cancel. I might lighten my days some.

Likely next several weeks. Will see how things pan out.

I have an obligation to my work to do what I can to avoid getting sick right now. shite is gonna hit the fan at work in the coming days/weeks/months and they need as many of us as well as possible.
