I don't think I consistently started buckling up until I was in my 20's. Probably when they started making shoulder belts and cars started making rings or buzzes when I was not buckled up.

I always wear a seatbelt. I drive a car made after 2005, so it always screams at me until I put it on.

I used to wear them off and on. Then I got in a wreck and they saved my arse big time. Made me a believer.

I had a 67 Mustang in high school that didn't have them, and I never added them.
I didn't wear it religiously until I got in a wreck that I would have got messed up in had I not had a belt on.

I never really wore them at all until the law was passed...I still don't like the idea of the government mandating things like that, but I have to admit, I feel a lot safer with it on now and never ride in a vehicle without buckling up...

I used to not really wear them when I first started driving (around 1995).
My mom would bug the shite out of me to put it on. After awhile I got to wear I couldn't not wear it.

Just because there a few outlier situations where not wearing a seatbelt saved someone's life doesn't mean it's a good idea.

I go with science and valid statistics and always wear my seat belt.

I always wear one but I can't tell you how many customers and co workers ride with me without one.

I've always buckled up.
Not always if I'm riding in the backseat, but now I buckle in any seat.
And I predate any seat belt warnings, etc. cars employ now.

BTW, did I see the Chevrolet ad that will mute the radio until the seat belt is fastened?

I drove and street raced a 1969 Camaro. I used the seat belt fasteners to make a driveshaft loop. I was an idiot at that age. 383 stroker motor with a ProShot fogger nitrous system good for another 250hp. Now I drive a soul sucking Civic but I'm safe. And bored as hell.

Worst invention ever, I can't stand that. And I wore my damn seatbelt before this annoying addition to cars.
