2002, which was my sophomore year of HS, a senior rubbed my hair for some reason at football practice. He said it felt like deerskin, and I've had that nickname in my hometown ever since.

Mandingo, Pringles Can, Mr. Big, Ron Jeremy, there's a few more I can't remember.

Just kidding. I don't have any nicknames and if I did none of those would apply to me.

Probably three or four that have been used by different people/groups over several time periods.

Summer before my Junior year of high school in TX, we were sitting around a camp fire drinking beers at the Lake, as we often did. As I was telling lies and carrying, a friend said "shut up, coonass." Eveyone laughed and repeated "coonass." That stuck with me through my junior and senior year.

Fast forward to graduation, the student body erupted in unison with a thunderous "COONASS!!!" after they announced my name. Old friends still refer to me by that nickname.

Never had a nickname that stuck.

My every day name is a nickname unrelated to my actual one because my legal one sounds way too formal. People call me derivations of each - I will respond to about 5 or 6 names altogether.

One, Cajun Blasian but haven’t been called that since our pastor left a few years ago. I live right next to his church so had to hear it everyday
