The opposite sex friend thread has me wondering how many people know someone that this has happened to. I have a couple of friends that had this happen to them. The story basically goes like this: The wife has a job. Somewhere along the line, she meets a male colleague. She becomes "friends" with the male colleague. The husband thinks something is up but she assures him that they are just friends. Over time, the husband notices that she has become distant and withdrawn. He also notices that she is hiding text conversations from him and gets angry anytime he asks her about it. She leans on the friend's shoulder during this time of marriage issues. The friend consoles her. They end up having an affair. It seems that this is a pretty common story. How many of you have experienced this or know someone that has experienced this scenario?

The “marriage problems” is just an excuse. Most of the time, they were looking for a reason to cheat and use “marriage problems” as an excuse to frick/get fricked by some strange.

More than likely they were already having the affair before he “consoled her”

We banned infidelity in my HOA in 2016. It took a lot work.

Banning it just makes your wife want to do it more

Jody's always willing to "console" your wife when she's feeling down and not loved by the hubby.

I'm talking about cases where the friendship is setup and the woman develops feelings over time. It seems that marriages hit a rough patch every so often and this seems to be a typical time for the woman to actually step out.

All you have to do is ask your wife not to cheat on you. It's that simple.

Most of the married women that have come to me were looking for something "more" than what they were getting at home. By more I mean a man that can hit bottom and stretch the love tunnel to the max. I am always happy to oblige.

If your wife has a male friend at work you've got a problem, period.

that she created.

15% of people in America are not the kids of the men who think they are. Obviously, the ugly bitches are lucky that they procreated with anyone, so they add 0% to that average. The hot women, however, bring that average right up.

But men are pigs, right?

My wife has a debilitating illness so it's really not me that I am speaking of. She is too ill to go philandering.

You seem to be answering your own question. Of course this happens, its probably the general outline for most affairs. Grass is greener on the other side, and some people make the leap. Is there some deeper mystery here I'm not aware of?

Not only that, these people will create problems so they have an excuse.

It’s called walk away wife syndrome. Usually the marriage is dead to the woman before the man even knows something was wrong.
