I thought about this topic the other day, and it really shows how tricky life can be. Before marriage, I didn't want any. After marriage, I just wanted 1. My wife wanted 2 but she quickly changed her mind seeing how much work is involved.

I have a cousin who wanted 4 because it's a nice number for a family (according to him). He was done after 2.

I have another cousin who wanted 2 but ended up with 5. He and his wife wanted a girl and kept trying. He got 5 boys and threw in the towel.

Sometimes, life just laughs at your plans.

2 and we have 1 boy now. Honestly would not mind 2 more but would like 1 to be a girl.

Knew we wanted kids but had no plan as to how many. We waited until we'd been married for a few years and then had our first son. He was difficult, so we waited until he was around 3 to start trying for a second. Got to the point that if we waited much longer we'd be too old we thought. Hoping for a girl and then we'd have called it a day. Ended up having a second son and the boys are 4.5 years apart, which is a pretty good gap.

Snipped it up after that...

Wanted 3 but my son (he was the 2nd) took care of that.

My wife is an only child and my son is all boy. He was crawling at 5.5 months, walking at 9.5 months, and climbing at 12 months.

Planned on two. Ended up with three. Wife "accidentally" forgot seven bcontrol pills one month. I wasn't happy at the time but wouldn't change it now.

Please don’t breed one. There are adoption centers full of babies looking for good homes.

I didn’t have a set number in mind when I was younger. I figured I’d start with one & see how it goes. Unfortunately, I didn’t have him til I was old. If I were younger, I’d have a few. I love being a parent. I’m super grateful to have him & a 12 year old stepdaughter.

Planned 2. Had 3 because the first 2 were boys and thought we’d give it a shot to have a girl. We lucked out and had a girl. Having 3 kids is fricking crazy most of the time, but I’m glad we did it.

We always wanted 3 but we’re happy with our two girls. Needed some fertility help for those two so we were shocked to find out a few weeks ago there’s another on the way.

Pray for me baws , I’m scared of another girl!!

Wanted five. Stopped at four because of wife’s health having them. I’m not going to raise my kids alone.
