2 boys here. Wife(no pics) was dying for a girl and would happily continue until she gets one. I on the other hand want them out of the house by 50(hopefully in a service academy to save my damn money). Any kids born past this point will bust my goal, plus the frau has accepted her life as a mother of boys.

However many you want and can properly love and care for.

I have one. I always wanted more so bad it hurt, but shite happens.

He is grown and I have a new grandson and am loving it. I'm awaiting more.

The wife has one from her first marriage who is grown and out of the house. Together we have none which is the perfect amount of children to have.

4 would be the absolute max. I have two and we aren’t having anymore. 2 is perfect imo

I have two sons. Each has a son and daughter. I would have had more if I were financially blessed. Two were plenty. My wife and I both worked outside the home.

Not directed at anyone in this thread, but for the life of me, i’ll never understand people who ‘try for a boy’ or ‘try for a girl’.. especially after having multiple kids of whatever same gender.. i dont have kids, and dont want them, so maybe i’m Incapable of understanding- but if it’s truly ‘a blessing’ to have children, then why would it make a difference what sex they are?

I actually know people in real life who've done the ‘try for a _______ ‘ thing, but here’s a link i read last week about this chick who I’ve seen on Dateline NBC who was in the news for trying for a boy at age 46 after having 5 girls:

“At my age, I never thought that I would have another child': Dateline's Andrea Canning opens up about giving birth to her 'miracle' son at 46, after turning to IVF to conceive for a SIXTH time

When the couple decided to try for one more baby in the hopes of having a boy, the journalist said they assumed she would just get pregnant naturally as she did with their five daughters.

Andrea said her husband is the 'best dad ever' to their daughters but noted that 'he really, really wanted a son.' “

Neighbor down the street in FL where I grew up had 14 children living and 2 miss carriages. The Momma weighed 100 lbs max and the daddy > 200 lbs. Good Catholic family and thee daughters were gorgeous.

Only three for me.

I have 3 . Girl boy girl.
My first born.
My only son.
My baby girl.
All three get a great designation within the family.

As for an answer, one child is too much, lol.

Three boys under 6. That’s probably my limit unless I could guarantee a girl. Just ready to be done with the toddler stage.

Good luck in the young years, but raise them right and you won't have to worry about them past 18. That's the good thing about boys. You can just release them and they will be alright.
