It’s Thursday but for companies, this really only started on Monday. Crazy how fast all of this is changing, and there will be a lot more to come. I don’t think I’ll make it past my next paycheck and I know I’m going to hurt the company when they let me go. I’m too valuable to pay but not essential enough to keep. Kind of a head scratcher if you ask me.

I have not, but what had happened is that those in my position are basically under the pressure to keep work going so that we can keep paying staff and other departments who are close to being sent home. We are the only revenue generators right now so it’s a ton of pressure.

Me: I own a music shop so that's closed until further notice and my 2 employees laid off (so they can apply for unemployment)

GF: professional musician. Out of work.

My brother, on the other hand, owns a refrigerator trucking company and he's had a lot of chaos due to jobs changing but is busy.

How in the hell did he get into that?? Is there a lot of call for that trade? Just interested if you don't mind.

Boilermaker is somewhat of a dated term. While they do work on industrial boilers they build/repair all sorts of vessels that hold liquids and gasses. In LA you see them working in petrochemical and pulp and paper.

I am very fortunate. I worked as a chemist for years while wife got her PhD. Then she became a professor and I did what I love which is teaching. Luckily both are jobs are safe and we both are being paid. I kinda of want to give our stimulus check to people that actually need it

Then do it. Go to a grocery store and bless some random people with paying for their groceries. Walk the walk...

Will you even get one?
I feel like you wouldn’t be eligible for it, no?

My ex-girlfriend from college is a flight attendant. She was beautiful... high school cheerleader. VERY in shape. Perfect tits. Used to let me stick it in her arse every once in a while.

I think I saw on Facebook that she lost her job.

For my shop, I've had numerous regular customers contact me to purchase gift certificates to help.

Sure there's a lot of independent smaller shops where you are that could benefit from something similar.

Good luck to you Sir. Very fortunate myself. Me and the SO whom I live with work for the gubment. I teach thermography courses and the girlfriend is high up in the food chain for a state agency.
