3. All began and ended the same way. They swung, I ducked and came back up with hard straight right. 4 teeth broken and one nose. Each time I tried to avoid fighting but couldn’t.

I have stepped into a few to stop them, but I've thrown exactly one strike as an adult.

From 27-57 - zero. 13-27- probably 25 ish. Never started any. I was in a dark place from 21 to 27 a lot of red neck bar fights .I met my now wife , she changed me. You ever here that song "Between the Devil and Me" well that was me. She’s 57 also and still beautiful ( no pics) I’ll never know why she picked me, I’m sure I’d be dead or in prison if it wasn’t for her

4.Won 3 and one was a draw. Almost 5 but the dude wimped out
Wait there was a huge bar brawl that started when I was there with friends. Pool cues and chairs getting thrown everywhere. I never got hit in that one so I kind of forgot about, but it was probably the messiest fight I've ever been in. Guess what it was about - a game of pool between a few of my friends and some locals. There was a lot of blood spilled that day

One night I was cutting the rug down at a place called the Jug with a girl named Linda Lou. This big ole baw walked in with a gun in his hand and he was looking for you know who.
He said "Hey, fab fellow with hair colored yellow, what you trying to prove? That's my woman there and I am a man who cares, I'm afraid I might have to shoot you."
I didn't know what to say, but I just said "excuuuuuuuse me"
Now let me tell you, it ain't no fun staring straight down a .44. I told him "wait a minute, mister, I didn't even kiss her." He started yelling at Linda Lou, so that was the break I was looking for. You could hear me screaming a mile away as I headed out for the door.

My mom asked me and my brother why we got in fights, with each other and other guys, when were younger I told her it was testosterone and women will never understand. Some days you’d just wake up and want to hit somebody or get hit. Learning to take a punch is just as good as learning to throw one. When someone gives you the best they got and you eat that punch like it’s nothing that’s a hell of an adrenaline rush.
