You know....college isn't for everyone.
Maybe you belong in that category.

Teacher no speaky English so I didn't know what the frick was happening the whole time I was in there. Next semester had some Mr. Rogers looking mofo and it was more manageable.
I dropped two or three and retook with better teachers. One was thermodynamics with this turk that was a total a-hole. Took it over the summer made an A i was failing miserably in his class. Teacher is everything when it comes to doing well in college IMO.

I dropped some science elective I needed then had to take it again the next semester my freshman year. Never failed a class but had to sweat out investments my graduating semester

A lot for me, mostly W's but a D or F here and there, and now I make great money in the best industry there is. Software companies beg me to come lead their DevOps teams at 150k+. Right now I am sipping a craft beer and about to play some ping pong before heading home. Guess what? I fricked off in college for 7 years but got the best bachelor's degree there is at the end, and that matters a hell of a lot more than how many classes you have to retake

A bunch. I failed every class except a 1 hour lab my pledge semester. Dropped a few here and there also. I was LAZY in school. Still graduated a c*nt hair away from a 3.0 in ME. I kick myself thinking about how easy it would have been to have a decent GPA and that sweet job right out of school

It's college.... and timing. College wasn't for me at 18. I went back at 22 or so and did way better than I would have if I'd went straight out of highschool. I did that dual enrollment program where you go to college and highschool. I was smart as hell for highschool with out trying, but I was young, dumb and didn't care. The only C on my college transcript was from my first semester as a senior year in highschool...then I graduated midterm. That C showed up when I went back to college...still managed to get my GPA up to 3.86 by graduation time with an engineering degree.

It was actually a double major in criminal justice and political science.

Yes, you are honest here.
I failed at least 3 by just being immature and not going to class and staying up all night drinking, playing poker, and smoking weed. When I got serious a few years later, I made all As my last two years (with about 3 Bs). Grad school was a 4.0.
Priorities change as you get older, meet a serious girl, have kids though.

A French lab, Calculus and Microeconomic theory. Plus an 8am aerobic running PE I never could seem to wake up for. I had fun in college.

Does it count if I dropped the class before the deadline? Or do you mean classes you actually took the entire semester?
Posted on 11/2/16 at 6:12 pm to vistajay
A few. Had a parent pass away early middle of a semester. I preceded to "drop out" but neglected to inform the university. 5-Fs and 1-D is very hard to come back from.

I wonder what the record is for # of Ws and still able to graduate at some point in time.

Several. Close to 10. One class I got a D in 3 times in a row. Another I got an F in twice. I got it turned around and never made anything less than an A for my remaining 2.5 years. I had my face in a book studying almost 24/7 while school was in session.
I eventually graduated with a great GPA and made it in life. Oh, and I had absolutely no trouble getting internship and job offers because I owned my past and you almost won't believe how much respect that it garners from people until you actually try it.
You won't get a lot of truthful answers in this thread because people are afraid to admit they failed at some point generally.

None.
But with nursing school (at least at Carolina when earning your BSN), if you make below a C in any course you are dismissed from the program completely and have to re-apply the following year. And more than likely, you won't be readmitted immediately bc there is a waiting list. Depends on what you make on the pre-nursing exam as to how long you stay on the waiting list before being accepted.(If you miss more than 3 days per semester in any class you are dismissed from the program as well)
