Me. BS in finance but it's only one class now. After I'm done I will have taken 210 credit hrs. At this point it's about being able to say I earned a degree. Plus I couldn't let that free tuition go to waste.

I've heard of numerous people quoting in their last semester. My co-worker's son is one. Had to pay back the state too because he didn't get the degree he said he was going to get.

Me. I was a sophomore for 15 years. I ran out of money paying for classes I didn't go to. Joined the military and got medically discharged after 12 years. Using the GI Bill to finish up these last 12 hours for this 18th year senior.

Secondary Education.
I've taken the 1st half of the Praxis test, not the 2nd.

I have more than enough credit hours for a degree, but I never got a degree. I changed majors so many times. Then after my last break I started working and never went back. Six months became a year, a year became ten. Time went by. Going back now for a degree in a field that I would probably make less doing makes little sense, as does starting over from scratch. I should have stuck with Microbiology
An old friend who works at UNO is trying to get me to go there and just get a History degree so I can have a degree. (I used to take a ton of random history classes but never really in a history concentration, just a planned minor)

i left LSU with only 45 hours left to finish in Chem E. Started doing pipefitting and got tired of that shite, went back and finished in Civil. Best decision I ever made.

People that don't finish that really are pretty close are really missing out on a huge sense of achomplishment. It didnt really bother me I didnt finish until I had a kid. After that I realized I wasn't about to tell my kids I didnt finish essentially because I was being a big pussy.

My dad didnt finish when my mom got pregnant with me and he always beat it into my head it was his biggest regret. My grandfather was the same way, dropped out after his eligibility was over. Both did very well for themselves but always brought it up every chance they got. No way I was going to tell my kids the same thing.

I believe it's a way for them to not feel so bad for dropping out of college. We all know they dropped out of college.
