Making plans would be harder

I remember calling friends’ houses to try to make plans. If they were gone, no hope in finding them

I hear what all of you are saying, however I wonder if you would actually get frustrated with some things.

Shopping for instance would take much more time with a limited selection. Just one example.

Anytime in the 70s would be fine, I would pay all the money I have to just live my life normal life span in that era.

It would suck having only three channels on TV but... no wait it would be fine.

Hardest adjustments would be not being able to Google and not having online bill pay.

It would affect work more than it would affect me after hours. Most people's jobs are dependent on computers and Internet.

I remember life without it so it wouldn’t be a hard transition

It would be a tough transition but generally you’d still be incredibly successful if you showed up one day with general knowledge of the breakthroughs we had made. You’d likely have gaps in your ability to put it all together but you’d always be three steps ahead and a visionary

Even the dimmest among us know some stuff that would impress people from 4-5 decades ago

Wouldn't be hard. But most people today would shite themselves having to go to the library or search through encyclopedias to look something up.

Very much so. We would all be writing and mailing memos and waiting for a response.

but you still have basics.

Running water, electricity, television, telephone, automobiles, antibiotics, etc.

So yeah...I would be just fine
This illustrates how minor, relatively speaking, the impact of the internet has been

A more interesting change to see would be the disappearance of, say, cars

Americans are used to going where they want when they want

I didn’t have all this technology as a kid. I just played sports, hunted and fished. So as an adult I’d just hunt, fish, and drink.

I would be happy as a pig in shite. It would take me no time to adjust. I hate what technology has done to society and especially millenials and kids...the only thing I would miss is where technology has gone in the medical world.
